Android Marshmallow comes with a very neat feature which Google is calling ‘Doze.’ It’s essentially a power saving mode subsequently turning off background data among a list of other things to save as much battery life as possible. In fact, during our own testing on Iris Q+, we were able to get few more hours out of the device in terms of standby time.But, the problem arises when you come to realize that Doze is currently a Marshmallow exclusive feature. There are certain limitation when we talk about Doze by Google. In order to get the most out of the features of Doze, you’ll have to meet through tons of conditions like: your device shouldn’t be moving, screen should be off, mobile should be completely idle and much more.But if your device has not yet received Marshmallow, and you are tired with so called ‘Battery Saving apps’; then here’s the perfect solution. Doze by YirgaLab is a free Google Play Store app. The app has solved almost all the limitations of Doze feature of Marshmallow.
Doze by YirgaLab will not disable data or force close an app, it will simply cut out the connection between your app and internet. There are two positive sides, you will save data as well as battery. As soon as you activate the app, and turn off the screen; the app will start doing its job.
Doze setups a VPN by which apps will not be able to access internet, and we all are aware that data is the biggest villain of battery life. Interesting part is, as soon as you turn the screen back on, all the apps looking for internet will be instantly get connected and you will start receiving notifications.
All you need to do is to enable the Doze mode when you are trying to save battery, and turn off your screen. The app is highly useful when we go to sleep.
