Installation :
*Make sure you make a backup of your current rom
*You must be on IRIS 504Q Plus and custom recovery installed
*Wipe data/factory reset
*Wipe cache
*Wipe advance->dalvik cache
*Flash ROM from sdcard
*Flash The Root.zip
MOST IMPORTANT STEP
*REBOOT
*IF DISABLE RECOVERY FLASH AND APPLY ROOT COMES THEN SIMPLY SKIP IT
ENJOY

Browser is not working........it shows Unfortunately browser has stopped working

No the roms are not same.
DeleteThe rom i have uploaded is only for Lava Iris 504 Q Plus model.
And it will only work on Lava iris 504Q+ and not on any other device.
To use this rom on other device you will have to port it.
The link you have given in above comment is for MASSTEL STAR 500
If you have Iris 504Q Plus then only flash the rom given in this post.
Iris 504Q Plus roms will not work on MASSTEL STAR 500 and
MASSTEL STAR 500 roms will not work on Iris 504Q Plus.

ReplyDeleteCan you plzz port a full version of miui with necessary gapps.......i have tried to port one but it didn't work.The rom you have uploaded doesn't have most of the gapps like youtube,hangouts etc.
ReplyDeleteYou can flash GAPPS Package separately to get your desired goggle apps.
DeleteRead the article here and download the gapps package you like and flash it via recovery.

Yes I am using 504q+ which have 8 GB internal.but there is only 1007 MB space available for system and rest of 8 GB is for data or internal storage. When I flash your ROM it consumes about 936 MB and left space is not enough for Gapps. That's why if you could port a ROM which consumes less space or guide to increase system partition size it will be very helpful.
ReplyDeleteI will not suggest you to re-partition, First try a factory restore and full wipe before flashing the rom. if possible wipe internal storage too, then flash the rom.

DeleteAnd after reading your above comments i have realized that you were talking about OTHER gapps not the google framework.
Well If you want Other Google Apps Like Youtube And Hangouts or any others You can install them via Play Store.
Or if you want them to add in the rom zip then you can directly add desired apps .apk file in System/apps folder and then when you flash the rom you will get all those apps pre installed.
i just flashed the rom succesfully . everything looks cool but there is a problem with my phone. The system showing the imei is not valid. i think i lost my imei. Pls give a solution for this

Its not necessary to flash gapps. The rom and all functions will work fine without gapps.
DeleteBut apps which requires google framework and google play services, may not function properly. And also you might need google play store to download and install apps on device. Or if you are comfortable you can download individual apps apk's from apk mirrior or other sources and install them manually.
Internal and external patches are to set default storage system use to install apps on your device.
Its for those people who install lots of apps and run out of space because of less internal storage space. So if you want more space you can install external patch to make sd card your default storage space and all apps and data will be stored on sd card.
