How to Move Apps And Files to External Memory Card In Lollipop / Marshmallow
This is so simple process and I try to make it most easy and safe guide. Lots of Android Device users face low phone memory error and we all want more free space on our Android Smartphone storage for download and play large size games and install lots of apps. But we can’t do it because of low phone memory (space). If you are facing this problem then you can swap internal storage with the SD card in Android device and increase your internal storage.
It is possible to install game's such as Modern Combat 3 (1.5GB) and FIFA 14 (1.5GB) at the same time on your SD Card. It could happen with Xinternalsd app. XinternalSD is created by one of Xda forum member pyler@XDA
What Xinternalsd Accatually Do?
XinternalSD will redirect the app access from internal memory (storage/emulated/0/) to external memory card (storage/extSdCard/) by changing the targeted application behavior.
For example:-
If an application think it must write or read in folder storage/emulated/0/myfiles/ (internal memory), in reality XinternalSD redirect's the application to storage/extSdCard/myfiles/ (external memory). By this way, we can move the OBB file of HD game that usually > 1-2GB to external memory card storage/extSdCard/Android/obb/.
How to swap internal storage with the SD card in Android Smartphone:
Step 1: We need a rooted phone for this process, if your phone is not rooted then first of all root your phone. You can see root guide of this blog it works for all devices click here.Step 2: Download and install Xposed Framework click here and XInternalSD app click here on your Smartphone.
Step 3: Now install Xposed Module and XInternalSD apps on your phone, then Open the Xposed Installer app, tap on "Modules" and check XinternalSD to activate it. After that reboot your device.
Step 4: After reboot open XinternalSD, tap on "enable for apps" to enable XinternalSD on individually app. Or we can check "enable for all apps" to enable it to all application. Reboot after changes. Done! now applications or games that try to access internal storage (storage/emulated/0/) will be redirected to external storage (storage/extSdCard/).
Note: If after installing XInternalSD any application crashes or you are not able to save camera photos or musicplayer cant detect songs then disable the that app in XInternalSD like the below screenshots and after that reboot your device.
