**Recent Apps Fix**
3rd - step u need root ..(to root it just flash flashable super su (get from xda)
4th - go to system\priv-app(ES file explorer)
5th - delete touchwizlauncher
6th - go to that folder where u downloaded above files and copy them both
7th - copy it to that folder (System\privapp)
8th - done now press home button and choose 1st launcher as default
9th - enjoy.......

I am unable to root my Lava 504Q+ after a virus attack on phone. This trojan has rooted my phone and gained admin access for itself. Now i am unable to flash phone with stock rom nor root it (farmaroot and many others), flashing issues with sp tool viz. load not same etc. Any help or pointers how to root it. I want to know how to wipe clean OS like windows??

Delete1. Which recovery you have currently installed on your phone? stock or custom?
2. Have you tried to boot into recovery? what happens?
3. What error you see when you try to flash with sptool.
4. Which windows version you are using. Try to install correct drivers. download from here Click Here

- Boot into recovery - same as is - stock android - no changes - have formatted multiple times, cache n all
- Errors on sp flash tool - many from version 3 to latest one

similar kind of errors n changes with sp tool version moreover i tried after downloading stock rom from xda / needrom and can try again if u can send me ur latest backed up current stock rom.
windows 7 (32 bit) and windows 10 pro ultimate (64bit)
This phone was rooted when i bought it 2 yrs ago and after cleaning bloatware and required mods was unrooted and since then never rooted it. Recently my battery was gone and a new battery from SP road bangalore was purchased and installed (local made as finding original is nightmare). AFter getting the battery and trying to get back it to life I noticed as soon as internet is connected it goes haywire, multiple apps downloaded all by itself, many many ads mostly nudity and then calls international numbers. have lost control on it and hence directly tried sp tool for flashing first time about 2 months ago and since then struggling as it neither roots nor allows to flash stock rom :(
From the SPTool error it looks like the file you are trying to flash is either not for LAVA Iris 504Q Plus or most probably the file is corrupt.
DeleteSo i suggest you to Download Stock Firmware From Here And flash again using This Guide
Or
Just download a custom recovery file From Here (PhilZ Or TWRP recomended).
and flash it with sptool.
There are other ways too but lets just leave them for later.
The version u have pinged is the one i have from xda and android mtk and already on phone as i may have flashed same rom a yr ago may be not sure thought but recovery screen shows same name. and wrt sp flash tool errors its just one of many ......
ReplyDeleteWHAT I WANT TO KNOW IS - How to clean everything on phone except IMEI numbers like wipe cleaning Computer hard disk, appreciate any pointers as past the point of recoveries n all and kind of now playing around with hexa values if something on partition allocation is messed by virus......
A full wipe only possible with a Custom recovery Or Flash the whole stock firmware SP Flash Tool.

Is it possible to validate Begin Hex address if a manual format with start address 0 is done via sp flash tool, although sp flash tool is not responding at all but will try it :(

ReplyDeleteAndroid SDK wont help much with SP Tool.
DeleteMake sure USB Debugging is turned on and these drivers are installed.
1. Iris504Q+ Drivers
2. ADB_usb_driver
3. mtk usb vcom drivers
After installing these drivers restart your pc
Then connect your phone to PC Open "Device Meager" And show Screenshot.
Make sure there is no 'Yellow triangle'.
